Food Intolerance Testing
Food Intolerance Testing is provided via York Test.
Food intolerance is an adverse reaction to foods that we eat.
It is not life threatening but can have a big effect on quality of life affecting almost half of the population, though many people are unaware that they have it.
Where food intolerance is identified, the most common approach is to eliminate different foods from the diet to try to work out which one is causing the problem. This involves a lot of time and guess work. Food intolerance tests analyse a blood sample to identify exactly which food is causing the reaction. The food(s) can then be eliminated from your diet for approximately 3 months before being gradually reintroduced once the intolerance has lessened.
Once the test results are back & you have your results I can advise you about how to proceed about how to make the necessary changes to your diet.
