Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

As an IBS specialist at York Happy Gut Clinic our aim is to provide tools for you to help manage symptoms on a day to day basis. IBS is a functional gut disorder which can give digestive problems that can be challenging to live with. The good news is that in most cases it can be changed so you haven’t got to live with it.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can be a long term condition & symptoms vary between people affecting some people more severely than others often being worse during times of stress or after eating certain foods. In many people it is a combination of consistent changes that can make a long term difference to symptoms.

By putting together a plan to help regulate bowel movements using various tools, including Colonic Hydrotherapy treatments and nutritional supplements if required, you have the reassurance of knowing that although IBS is debilitating you can manage it.

Many clients have seen a remarkable difference to improve their IBS symptoms by using treatment to gain continued better health.

How can Colonic Hydrotherapy help?

As well as relieving and easing the symptoms of IBS, Colonic Hydrotherapy can help the bowel to return to a healthy, normal state, including bowel bacteria which helps to prevent flare-ups in the longer term. For example, IBS is sometimes caused by the build up of toxins and waste in the bowel, which can be removed with Colonic Hydrotherapy.

In most cases a combination of colonic hydrotherapy, small dietary changes & nutritional supplements can improve IBS symptoms making life easier. For more information, please contact me on 07984 199952 or yorkhappygutclinic@gmail.com.
